History

The owner of Precision Auto Repair, Andy Grycuk has been working on cars since 1977. He completed two technical trade schools and a couple of years of college, all with automotive/technical profile. He is an ASE certified technician. One of his first jobs as a mechanic was for Autosprint, a specialty auto repair shop where he worked on exotics and European imports. Andy worked at several auto shops in the area before starting Precision Auto Repair has in 2000. The business was located at 3611 N Pulaski, at first. In 2005 it was moved to 3034 N Central and this is where it is today. Since 2000 Andy has spent much of his life developing Precision Auto Repair into advanced auto repair shop, focused mainly on European imports. Following requests from his clients, he also became a distributor for Upsolute, a leading European chip tuning company located in Austria.

"I started Precision Auto Repair with a simple idea of providing the best service on today's technologically advanced cars, providing solutions that are based on common sense and are tailored to customer's needs. The explosion of computer technology in cars today requires a new kind of automotive service center and that's where I want to take Precision Auto Repair."

Specialties

Precision Auto Repair Inc. services cars and light trucks import and domestic. We mostly specialize in European and Asian imports (Mercedes, BMW, Audi, VW, Porsche, Volvo, Land Rover, Jaguar, Saab, Mini, Lexus, Infinity, Acura, Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Mitsubishi, Subaru, etc. We fix drive-ability problems associated with engine and transmission, failed emission test, warning lights (Check Engine, ABS, Air Bag, SRS, ASR and all other lights on instrument cluster), heating and A/C, charging and starting, instrument clusters, anti theft, entertainment systems, body comfort systems, computers and computer networks, etc., you get the picture. We also program keys and re-flash (update software) various control modules. We also do all the "regular" work like: suspension (also electronic), steering, brakes, water pumps, timing belts and chains, etc. Give us a try even if many other shops try to fix your problem and could not.
